What makes someone good enough to be a celebrity role model?

Perfect figure? Gorgeous features? Talent or Brains? Contrary to having parents or elder siblings as role models, celebrities have an extra long criteria list to fill to have a hope of becoming an 'idol'. As a teenager I have a variety of role models including Nina Dobrev(she is multitalented, academic and beautiful), Stella McCartney (amazing designer and environmentally concerned), and Florence Welch (unique voice and killer hair colour). But is it healthy to have that many people to look up to? True, it gives us a successful person to live up to, but this is followed by immense pressure when trying to achieve this! Just a thought...

Giving Up Vampires For Lent

As many fans know, the next episode of The Vampire Diaries isn't going to be aired until April the 7th. Why? The last time it was for an extra long Christmas break. This time there doesn't seem to be any particular holiday, however it is lent. Have these hot vamps (Ian somerhalder, and Paul Wesley of course) given up their Thursday slot for an entire month? In the meantime they slip out the name of the new badass in Mystic Falls, Klaus. Joseph Morgan does not disappoint, but I can't say he's what I expected. Fair, but with killer cheek bones.

Prom

The dress is bought yet hardly any of the arrangements have been made. We know it's in a marquee but the decorations etc need to be sorted out. So during a supply maths lesson a group of us started making a list of what we wanted. It ranged from the extravagant such as a Justin beiber performance and a rollercoaster to more classy decor entertainment like plain fairy lights. It was decided coloured lights made it look tacky, childish not to mention the fact it's pretty unflattering! A red carpet was labelled a neccesity, a long with a prom king and queen (a tradition that our school has never really incorporated).
